Rich Application Development
We build personalized software applications to drive your site. These applications
work hard for the function your site needs, like publishing information or generating
revenue.
We do not use off-the-shelf development, but rather our premium Component Studio
(VACS) to develop sites that are complex, not complicated. We use the highest standard
of technologies such as .NET, SQL, XML, Flash, and AJAX to build the right WebApps
for you - like shopping carts, content management systems, video players, social
networks, and much more.
Web users see and interact with the front-end, or User Interface
(UI). What they do not see is on the back-end, the
behind-the-scenes programming code that is Rich Application
Development. This software is the platform
on which a site sits, and is the power behind publishing new
content, video players, gathering valuable data about visitors, getting
new leads or sales, or allowing user interaction
with each other. For example, our Content Management Systems does not require you
to be a programmer or a webmaster to be able to update your site. Simple point and
click, or dynamic automation, allows anyone to easily publish text, pictures, videos,
blogs, and links.
With V/A’s rich software applications, our website developers
maximize the functionality of these web technology services. This
infrastructure will help to increase traffic, increase sales,
and streamline information for increased productivity.
Utilizing the Virtual Atlantic Component Studio (VACS) our web development strategies
identify the appropriate web 2.0 technologies and analyze what
will suit your particular business needs including key elements such as database
development, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration, electronic payment
and inventory systems, and mutlimedia delivery (informative video and audio). In
short, to help run business more efficiently.

Virtual Atlantic’s Component Studio
As a complementary development resources to our MC-LCD© Virtual Atlantic has, over
the course of our seven year history, built and refined the Virtual Atlantic Component
Studio (VACS). To a great extent it is this toolset which allows us to rapidly,
effectively and economically develop complex sites for our respective clients, across
diverse domains.

The VACS is a knowledge base driven repository of essential software elements. Unlike
development environments solely applying Off-the-shelf or Open-Source building blocks
in the construction of a site, Virtual Atlantic draws from the extensive library
of more granular, agile and scaleable components composing the VACS.
Building from such a level allows us to realize the true architectural objectives
of a site unencumbered by the limitations inherent in the use of larger, generalized
constructs. In fact then, Virtual Atlantic demonstrates the ability to design and
achieve a site matched point-for-point to requirements from the ground up, while
at the same time maintaining the economies of re-use.
